Today's photos are a flashback to August. They were taken on my walk in the Medina River Natural Area on Monday, August 29. The first part of this series was published on Tuesday, September 27.
On that walk, the lizards were out in an unusually large number. it has been several weeks now since I have seen any lizards, so they must have gone into hibernation for winter. I have several series of photos of birds that I still have to post on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I thought today the lizards would provide a good change of pace from recent posts:
