I will be the first to admit I have a certain fascination with little blue herons. This is the fourth post on While on a Walk that specifically features the little blue. This set of photos was taken yesterday (Monday, February 11, 2013) on my walk along the Mission Reach of the San Antonio River.
This is the same little blue heron that was in the opening photo of yesterday's post. It was working its way slowly and methodically upstream along the bank of the River finding plenty to eat as it went:
