The weather and the mid-autumn angle of light were perfect for a nature walk today. With the rain we have had this year, the grasses are even more lush than I had anticipated. The last two photos in this series are of Sideoats Grama (Bouteloua curtipendula (Michx.) Torr.), the official state grass of Texas.
