Brackenridge Park, Wilderness Trails

This was another early evening walk that almost didn't happen due to last minute changes in my schedule today. As I have mentioned before, either Brackenridge Park or a segment of the San Antonio River are default locations for my walks on days like this. Given that I posted the series of photos of the wood duck on the river yesterday, the wilderness trails in the park seemed to be the best path forward.

As it turned out, the evening sunlight immediately captivated my attention. The light provides the unifying theme for this series of photos.
