Jack Judson Nature Trail, Olmos Basin in Alamo Heights
Today's photos:
The trees in Olmos Basin at the Judson Nature Trail never cease to amaze me. This is truly a majestic urban forest.
One of the main features of the Judson Nature Trail is the purple martin birdhouse at the entrance to the parking lot. Purple Martins are in the swallow family. Today they were very active flying above the trees in search of insects.
gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteEverything in your photographs evokes graceful movement. The second tree picture in this series— the one with the long lines of trunk— would you mind if I moved into that image for awhile?
ReplyDeleteCourtenay Bluebird - I have a particular affection for that photo. Please do move into it and remain as long as you like.
