Friday was another one of our incredible South Texas days this time of year where the warmth of the sun perfectly balanced the cool edge of the breeze. Today was quite different. Once again I was tempted to make excuses so as not to have to go for a walk on a cold, overcast, dreary winter day. As soon as I was out of the car and on the trail, I was thankful I hadn't given into the temptation.
